Job Description:

Working within the team responsible for internal store design, the role will report into the Project Director and will efficiently support national and international projects. In supporting these projects, you will play a key part in driving innovation and change across the ALDI Store estate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Represent data visually to clearly demonstrate reporting
• Preparation of senior level reports with succinct commentary to interpret data
• Interrogate systems to utilise relevant and appropriate data and is inquisitive of information provided, challenging the status quo
• Focus on solutions, quickly identifying drivers in the data through root cause analysis and recommending solutions to implement
• Support the Project Director and wider Project Team using own initiative where required
• Use appropriate project management techniques to complete high level end to end analysis and produce business recommendations
• Identify relevant short-term and long-term trends in the data, proactively initiate follow up analysis
• Engage multiple stakeholders across the business, including National and Regional Teams, and internationally with colleagues across Aldi South countries
• Report, analyse, and provide recommendations on key commercial metrics (i.e., sales, margin, payroll, wastage, customer demographics) to drive overall profitability of the Store estate
• Pull together data from several sources in an efficient manner and format for analysis
• Track global market data (i.e., steel price index)
• Manage efficient and accurate flow of communication both internally and externally
• Conduct Return on Investment / Total Cost of Ownership analysis
• Analyse data to provide insight into risks and opportunities related to commercial transactions / projects

Job Requirements:

• Advanced Microsoft Office
• Ability to measure, track and report benefits
• Analytical thinking & problem solving
• Comfortable dealing with complex data
• Data manipulation, interrogation and presentation of business performance
• Experienced in Data Analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and document accuracy
• Must be detail orientated, deadline driven and able to multi-task
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
