Job Description:

As a Commercial Specialist, you will contribute to driving the execution of ALDI’s overall pricing strategy while ensuring all pricing systems are operating efficiently. By providing pricing analytics, insights and project support, you will assist in influencing key business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide pricing analytics, insights and project management support
• Analyse and interpret pricing trends
• Provide pricing related recommendations to the business based on data
• Engage with stakeholders and advise on pricing related projects as a specialist
• Identify improvement opportunities to drive business efficiency and automation
• Generate and interpret reports to provide strategic insights

Job Requirements:

• Adept reporting and data analysis experience
• Proven experience in project management/coordination
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience in a pricing/commercial role, preferably in FMCG/Retail
• Tertiary qualification in relevant field e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Commerce, etc.
• Intermediate understanding of programming language e.g. SQL or Python
