Job Description:

The Bromley Graduate Internship Programme is a fast-track graduate programme for passionate individuals who want to make a difference while excelling in their own careers. The role of Graduate Intern in the Finance Team entails assisting in and completing key activities undertaken by the team

Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake regular financial data reconciliations
• Closing the accounts and producing the Council’s Statement of Accounts
• Providing administrative support to the Technical Control team as appropriate
• Treasury management and banking activities
• Produce and submit statutory and other returns
• Comply with the Council’s corporate operating principles and core values including our Equal Opportunities policy
• Assisting team members with the production of reports and appendices
• Work on the Council’s Pension Fund
• Responding to internal/external audit queries
• Capital budget monitoring
• Assist in setting the Council’s annual revenue and capital budget
• Comply with the Council’s polices on data security and confidentiality
