Job Description:

Here at Chiltern Railways we are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Lead to join our team. The role of the Digital Marketing Lead will be to manage and develop Chiltern Railways’ ecommerce channels to support the delivery of revenue and customer satisfaction targets

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage the marketing site development, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), and A/B testing budget
• Manage Search engine marketing, particularly the SEO and PPC plan and developments, to achieve traffic and revenue targets
• Be part of the marketing on-call out of hours rota for emergency communication requirements
• Develop and manage 3rd party suppliers, particularly our SEO, PPC and web development agencies
• Trade and maintain the Chiltern Railways’ website to ensure offers and information are up to date, to optimise revenue and the customer experience
• Provide and develop web analytics reports to monitor performance against business targets and optimise volume and ROI
• Responsible for Chiltern Railway’s web and mobile app ticketing development, working cross-functionally, and building excellent relationships, with the Arriva team responsible for delivering developments
• Manage and develop the CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) and A/B and multivariate testing plans for the website
• Plan, brief and manage developments of the marketing pages of the website and manage the development agency

Job Requirements:

• Google AdWords
• Understanding of:
• IT ticketing system (preferably Jira)
• Tag Management system (preferably Google Tag Manager)
• SEO and accessibility (preferred)
• Web analytics (preferably Google Analytics)
• Html and CSS
