Job Description:

As an Associate Director in Credit Deal Advisory and a credit ratings specialist you will be responsible for the day-to-day management client engagements and supporting the delivery of strategy for a high performing team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engagement contracting, budgeting, fees and risk management
  • Developing quantitative credit rating models
  • Staff training and training resources
  • Developing and maintaining reusable tools, databases, technology and modelling resources
  • Client proposal work: owning and supporting colleagues across the global business
  • Supervision of client delivery, inspecting work and maintaining high standards
  • Assisting with the development of client propositions and developing securitisation strategies for key clients
  • Developing and maintaining the team’s service catalogue

Job Requirements:

  • CFA an advantage
  • Experience of structured finance and securitisation credit rating methodologies
  • Working knowledge of bank regulatory capital rules and funding models
  • Previous consultancy or ratings agency experience a distinct advantage
  • Technical understanding of valuation approaches, methods and modelling
  • Extensive quantitative credit rating modelling in across credit asset classes, with experience in leveraged loans, mortgages, infrastructure, CRE a distinct advantage.
  • Detailed experience in developing and running rating models in CLOs, RMBS, CMBS, or other cash or synthetic securitisation
  • Experience of presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Previous experience developing and managing other members of a high performing team
  • International experience a plus
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of clients, companies and geographies
  • Extensive knowledge of ratings methodologies in credit asset classes
