Job Description:

This individual will support the Ecommerce Acceleration team on defining the strategic vision for winning the Digital Shelf, management and scaling of the PIM (product information management)/DAM (digital asset management) platforms and will have opportunities to support other L’Oréal USA strategic priorities focused on driving growth at key e-retailers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manager external vendor relationship to discover new use cases
  • Willingness to take on additional projects as ecommerce capabilities continue to evolve and develop
  • Drive innovation for LUSA Ecommerce business through digital content acceleration and change management
  • Showcase ability to create highly visible presentations capturing business value and platform case studies
  • Support scaling of best practices from a division to other divisions
  • Deliver monthly newsletter distributed across the L’Oréal USA brands and C-Suite
  • Support strategic alignments across divisions to deliver best-in-class digital shelf strategy
  • Maintain relationship across LUSA divisions and provide use cases for new features
  • Synthesize information from LUSA ecommerce channels (e.g., Amazon, e-retailers – ULTA, Target, Walmart, etc.) with a strategic lens on content, measurement, testing and PDP best practices
  • Influence retailers with strategic recommendations and contribute to strategy meetings
  • Partner with product owners to ensure successful tool launch to the LUSA ecommerce community, e.g., Ratings & Reviews platform
  • Build Community to ensure the success of internal ecommerce communities to unlock the power of L’Oréal’s expertise and scale
  • Recommend ecommerce content strategy based on data insights
  • Support building strategy of the US PIM/DAM product roadmap and communication of new features to stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another related field and interest in the beauty industry
  • Ability to interface with all levels of a complex, matrix organization across technical and non-technical functions
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel
  • 2+ years of digital consulting experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn how to navigate complex digital tech stacks
  • Knowledge and experience with Digital Shelf Analytics tools, digital asset management platforms (ie OpenText) and ecommerce syndication platforms (ie Salsify, Riversand)
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills
  • Prior experience developing internal products used by marketing stakeholders preferred
  • Strong program management skills
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate Ecommerce concepts to an audience with a wide variation in Ecommerce experience
  • Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule
  • 4+ years of experience in Ecommerce, Digital roles or strategy roles
  • Ability to create new capabilities and explain strategy articulately to various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention-to-detail skills
  • Proactive problem solving and ability to drive and adapt quickly
