Job Description:

As a Regional Account Manager, you will be  responsible for managing a portfolio of around 50 customers across the Blackpool and Preston postcode areas. This will require you to collaborate working with other teams to deliver portfolio plan objectives. You’ll be accountable for maximizing new revenue opportunities, retaining revenues and delivering key initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Represent the voice of the customer
• Collaborate with various internal and external third parties to maximize opportunities, including Business Development Managers, Operations, CE, Business Units and others
• Articulate tailored solutions that allow customers to appreciate the value they present.
• Mitigate competitor challenges, enhance the role of RMG and deploy customer specific-products and pricing solutions
• Deliver revenue and business targets, including major deals for Parcels, International and Letters
• Management of a blend of existing and development customers
• Successfully deploy new products, campaigns and solutions
• Provide accurate monthly and full year revenue forecast and reporting
• Deploy portfolio plan to increase share of spend, improve and enhance customer satisfaction

Job Requirements:

• High levels of business acumen and the ability to identify and act upon emerging trends
• Self-starter and capable of operating with ambiguity and a high degree of autonomy
• Inspires and communicates with enthusiasm and passion even in difficult situations
• Strong negotiation skills and a single-minded focus on revenue and profit generation
• Strong portfolio planning skills
• Excellent written and presentation skills with the capability to create compelling briefs, pitches, presentations & business cases

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate or relevant experience (desirable)
• Demonstrable track record of consistent delivery against sales targets
• Strong portfolio planning skills
• Minimum 3 years Sales Experience in the industry
• ISP/APS Registered/Certified Sales Professional (desirable or working towards)
