Job Description:

The responsibility of the mobile Senior iOS Developer is to provide technology solutions for projects and daily support. The Senior Developer ensures adherence to current standards and maintains a commitment to high quality development and implementations. This individual will provide technology expertise and guidance, remaining current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX for product definition and use cases
• The Senior Developer will be required to design, develop, test, document, deploy, support and sustain the mobile apps–iPhone, iPad — interface and libraries
• Assist with defining technical and functional user stories
• Peer code reviews
• Think outside the box on how to introduce new technology, enhance the user experience and improve code quality
• Maintain exceptional code quality
• Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the business
• Continuously evaluate, benchmark and improve existing projects
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external customers
• Ability to explain technical aspects of a solution to a non-technical audience

Job Requirements:

• Expertise in developing custom widgets with flexibility and reusability in mind
• Experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering functional features in small time durations
• Understanding of market leading CI & CD solutions
• Deep Knowledge on evolving Swift programming language
• Experience in developing test cases for the code is a must have. Automated test development is a nice to have skill
• Strong understanding of RX & traditional programming paradigm
• Strong mobile UI design and implementation experience, including prototyping
• Knowledge of A/B testing or persona approaches
• Good knowledge of Flutter, React Native or other tools is a plus
• Expertise in various data exchange protocols like json, soap, protobuff, etc.
• Expertise in developing data driven applications
• Strong in-depth knowledge in iOS SDK, device APIs, objective C/Swift
• Expertise in application memory management, identifying and fixing leaks, multithreading, networking & Security
• Expertise in different mobile app architectures & patterns including MVVM, MVC, Factory patterns, Provider patterns, etc.
• Expertise with different source code versioning strategies including branching, forking and merging
• Strong understanding of core algorithms and data structures
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and logical thinking
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) would be a nice to have
• Experience on Swift UI & Combine is nice to have
• Strong understanding of quickly changing mobile development landscape
• Expertise in Publishing mobile applications to Apple App Store – including packaging, signing, certificate generation & management, iTunes portal access
• Comfortable working together as a team in estimating and refining user stories and reasoning the estimation
