Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to drive sales, customer service and profit at the Landscape Department. To highlight the Landscaping department and its position within the wider JLP horticulture business providing profitable support and solutions to horticulture projects where possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Turf and seed lawns
• Prepare the ground or interior space
• Health and safety management of Landscape sites, nursery car park, access roads and access paths
• Support Landscape operations
• Compliance with procedures and standards
• Personal development of self through relevant training.
• Maintaining standards of planting
• Customer Service
• Shows and competitions as appropriate
• Stock, inventory and waste management
• Plant and prune trees and shrubs
• Working with the Nursery and Landscaping team

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge/interest in plants & horticulture
• Full Clean Driving licence
• To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
• Ability to work in fast paced situations and adhere to deadlines
• To be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong Customer service skills
• Ability to work well with your hands
• Landscape experience
