Job Description:

In this role you will serve as an internal resource to Whole Foods Market team members with a focus on drafting and negotiating agreements as it pertains to merchandising and operations in Whole Foods Market stores and distribution facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support and legal guidance to internal business stakeholders;
• Support senior members of the Whole Foods Market transactional legal team;
• Work with internal clients on developing and using form agreements;
• Provide additional support and assume additional responsibilities, as needed.
• Research legal issues posed by internal clients;
• Counsel internal clients regarding legal compliance and minimizing company risk; and
• Support multiple internal global and regional business teams by analyzing, drafting, interpreting and negotiating agreements in areas such as product procurement, distribution, warehousing, transportation, human resources, service suppliers, equipment vendors, independent contractors, events, payments processing, NDAs, etc.;
• Provide legal support to various operations business teams with a focus on drafting and negotiating vendor agreements;
• Work with internal business stakeholders to establish, draft and implement processes and procedures as it pertains to operations in Whole Foods Market stores and distribution facilities;

Qualification & Experience:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Seven years minimum experience in-house or with a law firm
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiations
